(Financial coach) Mortgage Refinancing Intelligent Sarcasm

By Robert Melkonyan

Every day we wake up to hear different views about what the real estate market is like in different parts of the country however it is not very common to hear smart arguments about what the big fat cats are doing in order to profit even during a down real estate market. For instance, it is very well known that during periods of depression when people are afraid to spend money the value of gold rises dramatically because people are looking for safe ways to invest your money while everything else seems to go down which is directly correlated to the expectations of the market in general.

Those who know how to manipulate the market during such times are the ones who usually make the most money or benefit the most from the current market situation but at the same time a similar current emerges from those who know what is going on and want to let other people know about it without coming across as a whistleblower.

Intelligent real estate sarcasm is just a form of argument that is made by people who know what is going on in trying to give hints here and there to the general public about it through sarcastic lines which teaches them to read between the lines in order to understand the hidden message which is being conveyed in a somewhat funny context.

In order to provide a more substantial example about what intelligent sarcasm is like we must cite cable programs such as the daily show with Jon Stewart and the Colbert report with Stephen Colbert which are 2 programs that use sarcasm in order to provide an intelligent argument makes with a good portion of humor which is why such programs are so successful, they would never run out a fresh material to write about or discuss about because politics is always changing and they can appeal to a younger audience through humor.

Sarcasm and intelligent arguments are not only being used by cable shows on TV but they are also used by those who have worked in a particular industry and for some reason or another they have stopped working in that area in order to pursue a different path. From 2000 to 2007 the real estate bubble grew so much that the entire American economy was compromised during the 2008 downfall, mortgage brokers and realtors who worked in this area knew what was going on and as the life of the bubble approached its end many of those brokers and realtors decided to pursue a different path because of morals of the industry as a whole came crashing down just like the market.

A good portion of such knowledge can now be found online in the form of blogs and personal websites that tell the story of what life was like as a broker or as a realtor during the good years and during the bad ones in a serious yet sarcastic way much like the daily show or the Colbert report.

Come and take a look at the interesting content written by an ex-mortgage broker who decided to part ways with which the industry and who now offers her knowledge in an interesting way, a mortgage refinance parody website at http://mortgage-refinancing-now.info

The Allure of Fast Money

By Jake Saab

A common theme in the many get-rich-quick home business offerings that are currently available is the emphasis on the lack of effort required to make a substantial income. I am a corporate computer guy. As such, by nature I tend to attempt to apply logic to most things. It absolutely astounds me that people believe that they can work from home and type a few things on their computer each day and then the money will just come flowing in. The promoters claims are that all the hard work has been done for you and everything is automated and simple. All you have to do is PAY to have access to these incredible money making systems. Reverse Funnel System, Road Map to Riches, Passport to Wealth, blah, blah, blah. I say, poppycock & bunkum!

Now that said, it would be logical to conclude that indeed, significant money CAN be made with a home based internet business. After all, like millions, I myself do an amazing amount of consumer product shopping online. Someone is making money from marketing to the masses! But I don’t believe that the “significant money” can typically be made in the no effort, get-rich-quick manner. Any degree of success WILL take education, direction and qualified mentoring along with a significant effort in the application of what you have been taught. Most work from home internet businesses fail primarily because the objective is to market and sell and the business owner is clueless about even the basic fundamentals required to do that effectively and successfully. There is a LOT more to internet marketing than posting as many classified’s as possible and spam eMailing.

Now, paying to be EDUCATED is an entirely different prospect to that of paying for a proclaimed money making system which if it fails you have no remedial options to explore because you are not equipped. More of my logic - if something - anything - is not working it must be changed. To make change you must, ideally, have a repertoire of alternative approaches and be skilled in deciding which to deploy dependent upon circumstances. Now why would one think that the same disciplines do not apply to a home based internet business?. Because of the luring advertised guarantee/promise of success?

I work from home already in my corporate job but with the current economic climate I decided to explore additional feasible work at home income streams. I was taken aback by the sheer volume of offerings and researching as many as possible continues to be a daunting task. Many that I encounter I immediately discard and those that capture my eye often get defeated by my ingrained skepticism. Searching on keywords “HOME BUSINESS SCAM” and “business name SCAM” assists with discrediting/eliminating process.

My search continued in a tenacious manner until I stumbled across the Wealth Funnel System. My first impression was another pay to get-rich-quick promise. But digging deeper, it became apparent that this was different from the masses. The emphasis was on equipping yourself with education that could and should be used in ANY internet business venture. The founder has painstakingly compiled a full suite of tutorials that cover a variety of facets of the internet marketing business, from industry terms to resources to application. THIS would be my repertoire of alternative approaches, I thought. It is sourced by a seasoned professional and in my opinion is the true value of the inevitable business investment. I can exploit the provided income streams and with confidence pursue others independently to grow my business. Somewhat like those that have been to college and pursued marketing as a career…

Despite my natural tendency to apply logic , I am also a huge advocate of the old saying “Nothing Ventured, Nothing Gained”. At minimum I have the resources to learn how to start, manage and grow my business. Also, what is fulfilling is my Wealth Funnel System mentor has NEVER failed to respond to any contact I have initiated. Most of the time the phone is answered on the first attempt.

Is the Rich Jerk More than a Jerk?

By Jake Saab

You can’t seem to do a search for home business, online marketing or get rich quick schemes these days without hearing something about the Rich Jerk. There are articles ranging the spectrum from ranting about his “bad attitude” used to market his product, right up to glowing testimonies about how much money people are making in a day thanks to his advice. Some people certainly may find his blunt, arrogant way of bringing his point across to be somewhat offensive and unnecessary. For those of us who have practically fallen asleep reading some of the other boring, uninformative e-books about making money online; or the over-hyped sales letters for get rich quick schemes, the Rich Jerk is a welcome alternative.

I came across his e-book about a month ago while looking into possible home business ideas, like so many of us these days that are hoping to start making money online, I had spent countless hours searching for something real. I was impressed to find that the information he gave actually made sense, with little to none of the html confusion of other e-books I’d struggled through. He also didn’t waste time like some e-book authors by going through the most basic details of how to build a website, or explaining in great detail how adsense works. With all of the different site-building programs and D.I.Y web-hosting companies these days, truly anyone can build a good looking website, and Google has plenty of help when it comes to adsense. (There are also some really great e-books on the net if you are looking for something specifically about adsense.) I’ve read e-books that were supposed to be about online marketing, but consisted of nothing more than a few pages telling you to; a) build a website, b) join an affiliate program, c) join adsense. There wasn’t even any real info on how to go about doing those these things, and yet the comment was made in the script that “I know you paid a lot of money for this”. No wonder people are skeptical of get rich quick schemes.

What information does the Rich Jerk give you for your purchase price?

How to choose which affiliate programs to promote, and a listing of the best affiliate networks to join.

Pay-Per-Click and SEO (search engine optimization) strategies, useful for any type of website.

Advice on creating and selling your own e-book/product, and selling other companies products on e-Bay.

A full chapter for “beginners” to expand on all the topics, and make further suggestions for success.

A list of affiliate products and programs he personally recommends to aid you in your venture, and some alternative online business opportunities for the more adventurous.

This may not sound like a lot of information, and while the Rich Jerk is only 47 pages, there is more useable info included than in some books twice the size. There’s a very good reason as to why so many articles and reviews have been written about this product, if you’re looking to start an online business, it is worth your time and money to read this e-book.

As for the issue of the Rich jerk’s “attitude”, it’s called anti-marketing. While people like to complain about it, it does get results. It grabs your attention when you’re looking at a bunch of run-of-the-mill ads. After all, you’re taking the time to read about him right now, just as I’m taking the time to write about him, so he’s achieved his goal. It’s also a matter of doing what works for you; celebrities have been doing this sort of thing for decades. (We can all easily come up with a half dozen or more names that are remembered for exactly this tactic.) I personally felt that it was refreshing to have someone be blunt and honest about what is deemed by some to be a get rich quick program. Make no mistake. What the Rich Jerk talks about is a legitimate online business, which will require you to spend some money before you can start making money.

Please understand that any online business or home business is going to take some work, regardless of what you’re promoting; and it will take some time to actually start making money. The Rich Jerk does have some great ideas for how to make it all a lot easier though, and a lot more affordable too.
